Last fall Barry facilitated a two-day workshop for the Institute for Classical Art and Architecture (ICAA). The workshop focused on drawing and understanding the classical orders and their use in modern design.
Attendance was strong: It was the largest turnout that ICAA has ever had for their orders workshops! Students, alumni, and faculty who participated all said they enjoyed it. There were participants from architecture, the first-year interdisciplinary program, historic preservation, and the school of art. It was free for students to attend and included breakfast Saturday morning supplied by the Chicago chapter of ICAA. A second workshop is tentatively scheduled for spring 2021.
